Friday 2nd August

SHE SAID:

We had another long morning out; to the south of Narrogin. 1st stop was Highbury; another stop I knew about from 2011, but it wasn’t “going off” yet...maybe in a month or so!
LOL that happens a lot!

2nd spot was much better. We saw 7 different types, with 2 new ones from yesterday, including the Cowslip which has been “almost open” for weeks now. Geoff, the hero, was the one who found the only open one!

Left top; Ladybird on a budding Jug Orchid, Cowslip (Yayee), Hairy-stemmed Snail Orchid
Bottom; Dark Banded Greenhood, Little Pink Fairies, Robust Snail Orchid

Purple peas & Hakea
Western Wheatbelt Donkey Orchid

Juvenile Stick Insect

Sunset in Narrogin
HE SAID:

I demonstrated once again that I am worth feeding. Finding orchids keeps Varena happy, and then I can make suggestions on what to cook!
