Thursday 8th August

SHE SAID:

A damp day greeted us. We left the house around 10am to pay a visit to Rick at Warren Grange (we helped out at his heirloom vegetable farm earlier this year). His place is between Northcliffe & Manjimup.

Rick was fine, in his “quiet” period between growing seasons. We sat & chatted for around 90 minutes.

Continuing to Manjimup for groceries we had to stop in at the Holden agents as the car was making a strange noise. Yes, something needs fixing!

Back at the house the dogs had “kept” the house warm for us & we all hibernated till 5pm when we had a damp walk!

A rare sunset for around here, it has been mostly cloudy & wet

Catching up with Rick went well, with a good long chat.

It seems that a drive belt tensioner on the ute is losing its rigidity, causing occasional squeals. It won't fix itself, so I got some advice, and as much as I am happy to pay for essential works, I found the required part at one third the price of Holden's price (same brand and model), and I think it worth my while having a go at the job, and it should be delivered on the same day that Holden could fit the installation in. So, fingers crossed that it arrives on time and I can fit it ok!
