Tuesday 6th August

SHE SAID:

Heading south from Kojonup the temperature also headed south! The rain was mostly just misty drizzle, but I don’t think we got over 13C all day!

Our lunch stop yielded orchids, so did the stop near Lake Muir, recommended by Wendy: 2 new ones of our 5 flowering ones that we saw!

We were around 80% set-up at the house when Wendy & her daughter Georgia returned. After the chat about the pets, & house we did the regular dog walk; it avoids other dogs & goes into the surrounding bush.
Dinner was at the tavern, & we all had an early night.

Common Helmet Orchid (Corybas recurvus)
Red-sepalled Snail Orchid (Pterostylis erubescens)

Midge Orchid (Cyrtostylis huegelii)
HE SAID:

Another move, and another house-sit. Varena loves the ones with cats, so 3 cats should amuse her for a while!
