I had a short outing to Officeworks, Aldi & Coles today.
Not at all exciting. I only needed a couple of things from Aldi, so I decided to do a price comparison with the Aldi items & the Coles equivalent.
Aldi came out at $14.77 for the muesli, olive oil & apples, Coles would have cost me $19.00! So yes Aldi is cheaper by $4.23!

After a slow start to the day I left Lawson around lunchtime and headed towards Canberra. The hybrid car took some getting used to but was fine, and economical. Remembering that there was a pie shop on the way I pulled in for a late lunch, arriving at Mum's at 4:30pm. It has been three years so it was good to see her again. I slipped down to Farrer shops and grabbed a curry for dinner. The restaurants there have changed; the Sri Lankan has gone, but now there is a Nepalese place called Mustang.
