Sunday 23rd April
SHE SAID:
D-Day for Sue & Doug’s return. We weren’t sure of their ETA other than “after lunch”.
Luckily, I’d made lunch early “just in case”. They rocked up at 12.30pm as we had just started eating. We left them to unpack & sort themselves out but joined them for drinks before I cooked the Portuguese split chicken for dinner.
We got a few tips on places to go to when we get to Tasmania; they really enjoyed their 2 months over there.

HE SAID:
We were organised, but had just sat down for lunch when Doug and Sue returned. Timing. Anyway, the got some of their stuff sorted before the drinks came out around 4pm. Doug wanted to show us his home-made brazier, so he got that going and we sat around it after dinner chatting.
