SHE SAID:

I wanted to have one last wander around Manea Park. We expect the owners to contact us any day now about their return. I’ve seen a photo on Facebook saying they are back in WA, so it won’t be long now.

We did find flowering orchids at Manea. Leafless & Hares, but no Bunnies again; they must be hiding from us! 

As we were leaving the park I got 2 messages, one from Mel & the other from Dorte, asking if we’d watched the lunar eclipse. I said no, we were busy looking down not up, & hadn’t even noticed a dimming of the sun at all! 

There is a big “who haa” over here, as the only place in the world to see the 100% eclipse is in Exmouth, WA! Down this way it was supposed to be 60-70% covered!

We did a little more tidying and taking things to the van, but not knowing Doug and Sue's return date is a bit of a bugger. We had our arrangements perfectly aligned for a seamless transition to our next house-sit, at Vasse, about 45 minute down the road, for Monday. But after Doug's friend that visited last weekend told us that they'd had Covid, and that the weather was likely to be crappy, and that Doug had miscalculated his roster and was now working on Monday, we expect that they'll be back before the originally planned day. But which day?
