 Tuesday 25th April

SHE SAID:

We woke to pouring rain. No ANZAC Service for us this morning, so Mike served up a tasty cooked breakfast for us all.

We headed back to the van for more of our stuff, & to give Karen & Mike some space. The rain didn’t let up all day; not weather to be out in. We had 30mm+ over the last couple of days!

We had another lovely dinner, cooked again by Mike; he seems to love cooking.

We had a rather gloomy, soggy stop at Abbey,
before returning to the house

HE SAID:

We spent a couple of hours at the van, with the diesel heater running, to allow Mike and Karen to have some time without us underfoot. We returned to the house in time for me to watch the footy, again staying low-key, so that Mike and Karen could enjoy their last day at the house a bit without feeling that they needed to entertain us.

After the footy I put on my first application of the FluoroCal skin treatment to clear up pre-cancerous skin. It is the first time that I will be using the rather new combination cream, which has Calcipotriene (a vitamin D derived chemical) added to the well-established treatment of Fluorouracil. I'll do this for a few days or a week (prescribed 4 - 6 days by the doctor, up to me I suppose), and then let it heal. We'll see how it goes...
