As both Geoff & I had several flea bites last night, a hangover from Bella we assume, we decided to bug-bomb the house, & so had to leave it for 2 hours to “work”. Geoff wanted to check out some tyre shops, & then had his vampire appointment at 11.30am, so we headed off around 9.30am.
Whilst Geoff was getting bled I had a call from Sam, an orchid lady from Perth, who is a friend of Mel’s. She had decided to come down to the Bunbury area in hopes of finding orchids.
So, I left Geoff at the Blood Bank & we had a 4-hour hunt in several locations, but failed to find any signs. It is always nice to meet new orchid nuts, though she isn't on the level of nuttiness & Mel & I!

HE SAID:
Getting away from the pesky fleas was a good idea. I hope the bug-bombs work. I'm not too confident that they will, but they were all we had in the house.
My efforts at making enquiries about tyres were, as usual, hindered by the lack of prices on tyre company web sites. They usually don't show prices, are not too helpful over the phone, and I am sick of giving everyone all my contact details for simple enquiries. So, I dropped in to 6 places before the blood bank, and the people almost seemed put out that I disturbed their day. PUT PRICES ON YOUR SITE, FFS!
Anyway, I have made my decision and booked in, but I am still bitter that the cost is about $80 a tyre more in WA than in Sydney. You can't tell me it costs that much to freight tyres over when the Sydney mob freight it for $30!
