SHE SAID:

Dorte & I headed out to a nearby nature reserve called Ambergate. I have been here a few years ago, but Dorte hasn’t. It has a formed track around 4 different sections with some info boards & names of the plants along the way.

I was very disappointed to see one of the 4 sections still smouldering from a weekend burn; many dead Bunny Orchids in there now!

I had another quiet day at the house. I have thought about heading out for a light stroll around the area but I don't feel comfortable enough to wear my hat yet. After 7 days I am feeling slightly better, but am still needing to re-apply vaseline regularly to ease the dryness, tightness, and the itching. We watched the new version of the movie Dune in the evening. It seemed to leave the story open for a part two...
