Today I headed about 80km northeast to Donnybrook to meet “2 Jess’s”. One I knew & the other was a new orchid nut. She had found a Leafless Orchid yesterday & had offered to show “Jess 1” where it was, so I jumped in too!

It turned out to be the only Leafless Orchid of the day, but plenty of Bunnies & a few Hares were seen. We had a good day, & it is always great to meet new “nuts”.

I may go out on an orchid hunt with Varena soon, but not today. I have worn my hat a couple of times in the last few days and it gets uncomfortable fairly quickly. So, I guess my skin needs a bit more healing time. There were two AFL matches on TV to keep me entertained.

I also had a 90 minute Skype with Evan. He seems to be going along OK, though a few crazy ideas came out towards the end. He seems to like watching Sky News, even though their ratings are woeful because they are bloody awful, and he takes on some of the rubbish they espouse as facts, when they are just rants from shouty old conservative white men trying to get some attention.
