SHE SAID:

Kylie, Ean & the girls returned soon after lunchtime & were busy dashing around getting the caravan ready for their trip to the NT; Shopping, clothes etc. to be packed.

Geoff & I organised dinner. We had Sri Lankan Curries from town, a first for them & they were impressed. Eton Mess for dessert rounded out the meal nicely.

Dempster Head wanders

We gave the house a tidy up for the family's return. Not long after their arrival Ean was trying to work out how to run his new car fridge, as there is no 12 volt outlet in the back of the wagon, only a 3 pin outlet marked 220v. Ean added that he and his brother couldn't work it out at all. He was preparing to take the car to an auto-electrician to work it out. I told him straight away that what his car had was an outlet from an inverter, and the fridge would run really well from it! So, he and I went out and tested the outlet, and once the car was started it all worked. Ean was very grateful for dodging the embarrassment he would have felt at an auto-electricians workshop for such a simple thing!
