 Saturday 24th June

SHE SAID:

I braved the elements for an orchid hunt. I know heaps of locations here in Esperance from when we were here through 2021.

I headed around 60km east to the Coolinup area. I found lots of leaves, some buds & the regular Greenhoods & Hares. My Esperance friend Kathy met me at the 2nd location, and she even brought the fine weather. Well, no rain at least, though it returned as we were leaving. She was saying there has been over 70mm in the last few days!

HE SAID:

With the weather only marginally better than yesterday's awful iciness I stayed at the house, warm and dry. I even managed to watch a couple of footy matches. A quiet, but comfortable, day.
