Kathy & I headed back to Ridley Rd, Grass Patch in hopes of re-finding the Sigmoid Spider buds that she found about 8 days ago. I thought they would be open but had my doubts that we’d find them. But we did & 2 were out.
I found another 2 in the South Ridley NR. Plenty of Dwarf Shells, Brittle Snails & Greenhoods were also seen. But at our final stop the Esperance King Spider was still not quite open! It’s certainly taking it’s time & teasing us!

HE SAID:
There was footy to be watched and a dog to be entertained, so I stayed in. The 4th Test of the Ashes was quite interesting, with England smashing our bowling over the place last night, and making heaps of runs. But now the weather is playing a big part and the poms are whining, mainly about how they feel that they were really dominant so The Ashes should not be retained by Australia if the series is a draw. It seems that they have forgotten that they lost the first two tests! And, if this test is a draw the series is still 2-1, and if weather in the 5th test makes it a drawn game, then Australia will have won the series 2-1. These poms are really going for broke on their own BS!
