SHE SAID:
We headed east today, for the Cape Arid NP. I have only been out this way in non-orchid season & I was keen to see what might be out there now.
It was a good day with 6 flowering orchid types & 16 budding, or leaves for other orchids. The highlights were the Reaching Spiders & Crystal Helmets.
Back in Myrup we detoured to the Lucky Bay Brewery, which I had been promising Geoff we’d go to from when we arrived! He enjoyed the Indian Pale Ale & brought home the Stout.

HE SAID:
My several visits to Cape Arid have been orchid-less, so seeing a few was a nice change, and kept Varena happy.
The reports on Mum are encouraging, with marked improvements. Good!
In the cricket England went on their merry way, scoring nearly 400 in a day, which is fantastic. But they lost nine wickets doing it, and Australia has been their equal, but by batting how they usually do. Tomorrow we'll find out more!
