Sunday 30th July

Geoff's expert driving averted a collision with 2 nutbag Kangaroos on our way to CLG NP.
We had a half day out looking around Rossiter Bay & Merivale Rock. The highlights were Blue Beards & Wispy Spiders in flower.
After lunch back at the van I headed out solo for one last look around Old Smokey Road. I found another Wispy Spider, an Esperance King Spider & a bunch of Beautiful Donkeys. Happy dancing.
I made a different dinner tonight, Devilled Sausages with homemade spicy BBQ sauce; they were a nice change.

HE SAID:
My swearing was entirely appropriate and helped us avoid colliding with 2 kangaroos on the Cape Le Grand road. Phew. We carried on past Lucky Bay down to Rossiter Bay. The last section of road was very wet, but we managed OK. The last day of the 5th test of The Ashes in the evening was severely disrupted by rain, so I managed to get to bed at a reasonable hour. Australia is in a very good position to win this one, at 0-135 with potentially a full day to score a little over 200 runs.
