Geoff & I along with Charli headed for the Retreat first thing to move the van behind the pool & out of sight, hooked up the power & water for our return to it on Thursday.
Geoff thought he’d help Ean out by mowing some of the huge areas of grass around the chalets. I left him to it. After some homemade soup back at the house I met up with Kathy & Tanya at Dempster Head. Tanya showed us her Pink Bunny find & we showed her some Snails & Sandhill Hills Helmets.
Kathy & I went off along the coastal path when Tanya left to get home for the kids, & I found the first open Jug for the year & the hoped for Spiders buds at a location that Courtney had told us about. A good few hours hunting, I was happy.

With a fair bit of rain due on Wednesday and Thursday I knew that Ean wouldn't be able to mow the retreat after their return on Thursday. And, with guests coming it seemed a good idea to get it done. Some patches of grass were nearly knee high, so a mow was needed!
The time slipped by as I mowed, after pumping up 2 tyres on the mower, despite feeling really cold! It probably took 4 hours just to get the grass looking okay for any guests that arrive, without being a complete mow. Ean will have to manage the rest later.
