Friday 11th August
SHE SAID:
We had a lazy morning at the bush camp, as we only had 100km to drive & Natalie was working till lunchtime, so asked that we get there in the mid to late afternoon. After our lunch of homemade vegetable soup & cheesy toast we headed west for Albany.
We stopped at the supermarket before getting to the house sit, which is actually about 18km south of the town, in Goode Beach.
Mike made a lovely dinner for us all & we were chatting away till well after 10pm.

HE SAID:
We were on a bit of a go-slow today due to the short distance and late-ish expected arrival time. Arriving at the house we were a bit surprised at the amount of clutter that would need to be sorted before dinner, and that Mike was still sorting out the dishwasher after quite a few weeks of it being out of action. Anyway, it was all sorted in good time and the evening was the usual fun and chatty time, with Mike's good cooking impressing once again.
