 Monday 7th August

Geoff & I met 30 years ago on this date!

Today we saw 15 different types of orchids in flower; I was happy. Including, 4 new ones for the season, & 1 that is possibly well out of known range (Beautiful Donkey, which I will try & confirm when we have signal).

Also, we saw a Racehorse Goanna, 2 Blue Tongue Lizards, & a Tiger Snake too! It was a warm 26c day & briefly hit 28c, so all the beasties are active now!

The day ended with drinks at the Tozer’s outside bar (fire pit) watching the lovely sunset, in the mild winter evening. NO jackets required!

HE SAID:

Well, 30 years ago I met the lovely Varena. There was no way to know then that we would get married, and that we'd be travelling all over the place with our caravan. What a great time we've had! I am a very lucky man.
