Eggbert is gone. Bertie, the Billabong Caravan, is a bigger and better van! Geoff and Varena are still on their big trip - into their fifteenth year! Heading from Darwin to: Bungle Bungles, Tanami Desert, Alice Springs, Dalhousie Springs, Woomera, Lake Eyre, Nullarbor, WA, Eyre Peninsular, Melbourne, Canberra, Blue Mountains, Bourke, Cameron Corner, Toowoomba, Tully, Birdsville, and back to WA for 6 years! Who knows what's next?
Sunday 13th August
SHE SAID:
We had a short but disappointing orchid hunt today.
Back at the house the slow cooking Bolognese sauce was smelling very nice. It also tasted great come dinner time.

We had a nice Sunday morning drive, which was interspersed with several walks in the bush, but very few orchids.
