Thursday 29th August

We drove around the bottom of Lake Clifton to our next house sit in Bouvard. We had organised this one way back in November last year & I don’t think Peter remembered us to start with.
There are Chickens & Lovebirds to feed & water, & some watering of pot plants & gardens if it doesn’t rain. Peter & Jenny headed off at midday, then we spent about 90 minutes “moving in”.
After lunch we headed to Mandurah, about 20mins away, to collect Geoff’s new computer & get some groceries. At 7pm we had a Skype link up with Julian & Kiyoka in Japan. Quite a busy day, with NO orchids on the agenda!

There was no hurry this morning but we were still ready by 9am. We were at the new Bouvard house-sit around 9:30, and after having a quick chat with Peter and Jenny got the van into position. After that it was a refamiliarisation of what to do with the house and animals, a bit more of a chat, and off they went.
The next hour or two was spent making many trips between the van and house with our stuff.
I was glad for the break at lunchtime, and then we went out shopping, and to collect my new laptop. At The Good Guys I also wanted a larger MicroSd card for our dashcam, and when chatting with the sales bloke got $22 off a $77 card! Easy!
