Friday 13th September
SHE SAID:
I was wide awake well before 6am so got up & was on the road by 6.15am...WTAF!
First stop was Marradong NR, before I met up with Nikki & Michelle in Williams. It was Nikki’s birthday & she had chosen Bogey Block for our orchid hunt day. It was a lovely choice with almost 20 orchid types seen throughout the day.
It was 6.20pm by the time I got back to the house, & I was very grateful that Geoff had read the menu & sorted out dinner (AGAIN!). Lovely hubby.

HE SAID:
There were the usual chores to be done, plus a few little things that I wanted to do, keeping me occupied. In the evening there was an AFL semi-final that needed watching. The timing of Varena's return to the house was rather conveniently matched with the half-time break of the footy, meaning that I didn't miss much as I barbecued our steaks.
