SHE SAID:
Geoff & I headed up to the Serpentine Dam area, about 60km away. I had a couple of summer burns I wanted to look around. On seeing them I think they might have been prescribed, cooler burns. They didn’t yield many orchids.
It was a nice warm sunny day, & nice to be out taking things easy with Geoff.

HE SAID:
We had a bit of a wander, though much shorter than Varena's peak orchid season usual day. I enjoy the days out but not as much as some... We still managed elevenses, and lunch, though coffee was back at the house as we'd not found a hell of a lot and gave up looking.
