Not feeling 100% today, so we had a day off the orchiding. I spent a quiet day sorting photos, naming & adding the notes. I’m behind again, starting the 15th August today. I also got the "Birthday Books" finalised & sent off for printing. I've done one for Mum, John, brother Julian & Kiyoka, & of course 1 for us. They should arrive before we leave here.
Geoff “played around” with chainsaws, chopping more firewood, chicken wrangling etc. He seems to enjoy it when the “machines” behave.

HE SAID:
There are always little things that need doing. From changing a light bulb, to chainsawing fallen trees for firewood, to charging the house owner's car battery as I think it is dying. Plus, there are the usual household chores of washing, cleaning etc.
The chickens had another visitor today, a blue tongue lizard. The chooks seemed quite agitated by its presence, though it didn't seem too put out by mine, crawling slowly underneath a chook pen to wait me out.
