I had a semi-chores day today, a day at the house with things to do. Not exciting, & minor success with things I wanted to tick off my list. I’m still waiting on the B***** insurance claim for the windscreen on the hire car back in November last year! You can't speak to a human; I have tried, of course they owe me money. It's driving me bananas.
I did some planning for hunts in the next few weeks, plenty to keep me busy!

HE SAID:
The awning on the van has seen better days and needs some attention. I got a couple of estimates for replacing it but the prices were extortionate, so I decided to do it myself, but in a slow, step-by-step way. Today I went into Mandurah and bought a couple of parts for the frame mount and slider arms. It would have been cheaper to buy them online but I wanted to get it done today. In my usual way the job took much longer than I had anticipated, but there was success in the end! Now I need to decide when to replace the actual awning material. And, the fitting of it will need Varena's help, so, as she's rather busy with orchids at the moment, I can wait. We may even get another year out of it yet. Who knows?
