I had a busy day at the house doing washing, ironing, cooking, & cleaning of the van.

Bluee the ute had to go back to FORD to get a couple of things looked at again so I had no transport. It was a good excuse to get “stuff done”.

Geoff had another courtesy car so was able to do the grocery shopping on his way back. He was happy that I’d made some choc chip cookies for morning tea. And he had curry for dinner too!

After getting the car looked at again by Ford today, for minor things that I had told them were not fixed at last week's service, I was basically told that nothing more can be done. I reckon that's crap.

As we had the ute back just after lunch I decided to install the new cup holders into the dash. I had watched an excellent video several times, so I felt confident that I could do it, but I also knew that it would take me much longer as it is my first time. It probably took me about 90 minutes, which is longer than I thought I would take, but I spent a fair bit of time watching and rewatching segments of the video to make sure I didn't botch it. We now have 2 additional cup holders, and Ford can get stuffed as they quoted me over $500 for the job, and I did it for $180.
