SHE SAID:

Geoff & I had an hour or so walk in the Yalgorup NP, which we were able to access through a neighbour's property; she gave Jenny the house owner permission for us to go in whilst we are here. We found 6 flowering orchid types, nothing exciting but nice to see.

Around 10.15 we headed back into Mandurah. We decided to go the movies to see the second Beetlejuice movie. The first one came out in the 1980’s & was quite daggy when we watched it a couple of nights ago. This one was equally weird & quirky & no doubt in another 20 or 40 years it will seem dated too!

We eventually got back to Bouvard around 4pm. It seems as though FORD hadn’t done some of the things we asked, so Geoff complained till they did. But now we have to take the car back AGAIN next week as one of the issues will take time!

Without the loan car we'd be stuffed. As we had it though we went into the town, and to the cinema. After the movie I had to ring to find out what was going on with our ute as we'd not heard anything. Of course they said it will be ready soon... Anyway, the delay meant that we had to have lunch in town, and we chose a Vietnamese place. Unfortunately, the food was OK, but not as tasty as I had expected. Oh well.

When we finally got the car I noticed that the item on top of my list (the loose grab handle) for them to look at had not been rectified. Nor had the issue of the car sensing that a trailer is connected when there isn't. It took me several insistent returns to the service desk to actually get a technician out to look at the problems, with the end result being that a problem was identified (surprise, bloody surprise!), and could we book the car in for a day as these things can take a while. Well, they have already had the car for two days! FFS! As we need a loan vehicle when we leave our car there due to staying miles out of town and needing to do things, we had to wait until a loaner is available; so next Thursday it is.
