We headed to Mandurah to put the car in for its 15,000km service. There was a list of issues we raised too, mostly minor things to do with the computer side of things, but they are rather annoying for us.
I suggested we have breakfast out & then go to the movies. Breakfast was nice, overlooking the bay, though it was rather cloudy. The movies didn’t happen as we had an hour to kill & the cinema isn’t in a mall, we & didn’t want to just wait around!
Back at the house we had a major problem when we realised we didn’t have a key to get in; it was on Geoff’s car keys & I didn’t have one at all! Anyhow, we managed to get in... I’ve never “broken into a house" before, though we didn’t break anything! We were just clever!!!

When I booked the ute in for the service I requested a loan car. We were given a 2 litre bi-turbo Ranger XLT, but after a short while I realised that our 3 litre V6 Sport was a cut above the loaner. Then, only a kilometre or so down the road with our loan vehicle and we were very nearly t-boned by a P-Plater at a roundabout. That would not have been good!
I hadn't remembered that Varena doesn't have a house key on her key ring, and I had given my keys to the Ford people, so when we got back to the house we were locked out. We both tried differing measures to get in, with Varena's method being successful first. We had a laugh about it!
Ford rang in the afternoon to say that there is a big software update they need to do and asked if they could keep the ute in overnight. As we had the loan ute this was no problem.
