SHE SAID:
It was a lovely blue-sky day in Albany today, rather windy but sunny & warm.
I managed to see 12 orchids for our day's wanderings; we also enjoyed the beach & ocean views for lunch & afternoon tea. The wind surfers on Princess Royal Bay were whizzing along in the strong breeze.
We got to Nat & Mike’s place around 4pm. Mike was home, as he is currently between jobs. Obi the cat was the first to greet us at the door, closely followed by Mike, then Willow eventually turned up when Nat got back from work.
I think it is a couple of years since we have met up, so we had plenty to talk about & Mike served a very fish themed tasty dinner.

HE SAID:
Mike is a good cook, serving up some very tasty creamy garlic prawns, fried fish, and a couple of salads. We chatted all afternoon and evening, with plenty of beer and wine flowing. Some of that wine ended up all over me, because when I removed the temporary stopper of the girls' bottle of bubbly, the spouting eruption drenched my thigh. It was a bit uncomfortable for a while...
