We left Goode Beach around 9am, & today it was cool, cloudy, with rain on the air, nothing like yesterday!
We headed into town for some breakfast/lunch at a place we went to a few years ago which had an excellent dish called Spanish Eggs. It was still on the menu & again lovely, even Geoff ordered it too!
There were a couple of orchid stops on the way back to Frankland River, but all were disappointing, as the areas have been cleared & of course this has taken out the orchids too. I was NOT happy.
Bertie was waiting for us on our return & we had quiet afternoon.

Before leaving Nat and Mike's we had a short walk along the now-overgrown fire break in the forest next to the house. It seems that the orchids are becoming fewer and fewer there, which is disappointing.
Breakfast at Espresso 1 in Albany was tasty, and very filling. It is a savoury beans-based dish with chorizo, and a couple of poached eggs on top. It is not the sort of dish I would normally order but it was enjoyable.
