The weather prediction for today is 41c, it reached 40C!
We did several trips to water down the chickens, the pens, & the grounds to give them as much cool as possible.
I have notification that my new Australian passport was at the Boyup Brook post office ready for collection, so we headed there. But there was a mass of people waiting, so we thought we’d try again later.
I got my passport on the 2nd attempt. The car which had been sitting in the sun was showing 48C!

It was quite a hot day but weren't out in it much. Our main reasons for going outside was for chook maintenance, and all seemed fine with them.
I managed a chat with Uncle Paul, and also with Kathy, who is spending some time with her new (and old - about 35 years ago they worked together on Hayman Island) man Jon. Of course, I also managed to watch some cricket, which was played at the really awful looking playing surface of the Docklands Stadium (currently branded as Marvel Stadium). Apparently, there have been lots of events (concerts?) there recently and the grass is now knackered. It would not have surprised me if the match had been called off, as it looked so bad.
