SHE SAID:

We are back into the high 30c’s today, reaching 35c around 4pm.

We gave the chickens extra water & attention, making sure they were OK. There was no drama.

My main task for the day was starting the first edit of the 2023-2024 Blog Book; yes, it is that time of the year again. I managed to get to May 2023.

Mum seemed chirpy on Skype; she had had a busy week of going out & Christmas activities.

It was a bit of a catching up day for me. In the morning I had a long chat with John, then in the afternoon I had a Skype session with Eileen and Meg, and finally a Skype with Evan, at least until his Apple phone overheated and it shut down. Varena hilariously said that Evan now had a stewed apple! For some reason Ev prefers to use his phone for Skype instead of his laptop. The laptop works reliably. The iphone doesn't, and we always spend the first 10 minutes getting everything working. Every time!
