Sunday 1st December
SHE SAID:
Geoff & I headed to Bridgetown as Google said the Blackwood River Markets were on. They weren’t!
On enquiring at the visitor's info the lady said it was the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month, well Google, that’s rather different from the 1st & 3rd Sundays, isn’t it!
We did manage to find something else to do. The town is quaint & old so I got a few photos for the Blog. Our choice for morning tea was disappointing: The Mulberry Tree Cafe. The Vanilla Slice was flavourless & stodgy, & the Lamingtons were not fresh; we won’t return there!

HE SAID:
Well, I was willingly going to the markets this morning. Too bad they weren't on! And, having elevenses at a cafe is normally a nice treat, but today was a disappointment.
My third event of note for the day was stupidly getting zapped by the electric fence again! The first time, a couple of days ago, the hot wire was at shin height and hidden in long grass, so as I approached a different, but close, fence I was looking down for wires when I touched the top wire. This was the live one here! Bugger!
Uncle Paul rang while we were out; he's not happy, and it seems that my sister Kathy may have worn out her welcome. I managed a chat with Carmel and Eileen around lunch time. They were at their new "usual" Sunday arvo haunt in Manuka.
