Geoff had an appointment with a physio in Busselton that was recommended by my friend Sam, who is also a physio. This lady, Fiona, specializes in the vertigo / migraine area.

I went with Geoff as he wasn’t sure whether he might feel bad after the appointment if the tests trigger an episode. All good, no after effects, so far. Plus, it most likely is a type of migraine & not vertigo. There are various things Geoff can do to maybe help lessen the effects, which he might try.

The rest of the day was uneventful.

I was dreading the physio appointment in case it triggered a bout of vertigo. Luckily it didn't. Fiona is a specialising physio in this field, which I didn't even know existed until we spoke with Sam. The appointment went for around an hour and a quarter, and seemed to be very thorough, including testing some of the usual vertigo triggers, and utilising a special camera. Fiona's assessment was that what I get is not actually vertigo, but vestibular migraine. I walked out with some information to help, so I'll see what happens.
