SHE SAID:
We did the grocery shopping & then I made a large batch of basil pesto & some fresh tomato sauce with the pile of herbs & tomatoes that Dorte gave us yesterday. I love the smell of basil, it reminds me of when I lived & worked in Italy.
Of course, we had to have pesto spaghetti for dinner!!!

The shopping today also included getting some beer. It’s always good to have some in the fridge, especially when my brother Mick is around; he is quite partial to glass or two, same as me.
