Sunday 9th March

SHE SAID:

With my back still not good I got a good strong massage from Geoff, which helped ease it.

We headed over to Yelverton for a couple of hours in the afternoon, to go through the watering with Dorte. They are off for 3 weeks & some of the vegs & herbs aren’t on reticulation.

I Skyped with Mum at 6pm; she seemed well, & counting down till our arrival, I think.

One of the warning messages for Cyclone Alfred,
which hit Brisbane & into northern NSW.
They rarely come that far south.

HE SAID:

I was a little tired from yesterday but only a touch. The watering here is still playing up, but I’m managing the situation without much drama. I just need to prime the extraction pump from the dam every day or two. The owners can fix it properly when they return in May.

Both Kathy, in Brisbane, and Paul, in Byron Bay, said that they are Ok. Obviously the cyclone is affecting them, but at this stage it is windy, rainy, but power outages are the pain. It could be a lot worse.
