Sunday 16th March
SHE SAID:
Our third day of touring took us down to the bottom of the Capes, to Augusta. It was a longer drive, & mostly scenery driven.
It was a warm sunny day, & the Leeuwin Lighthouse stood out against the blue sky beautifully. Jacqui & Mick had a walk around the lighthouse precinct whilst I watched the waves, & Geoff hibernated from the sun.
We had yummy rolls from the Augusta Bakery & tasty fresh berry ice creams & frozen yoghurts from the van in Witchcliffe.
Back at the house mid-afternoon & the day was rounded out with Bangers & Mash, & a musical evening of Geoff & Mick’s choices of music.

Another day of showing Mick and Jac the capes area. They seem very impressed with it so far. They also seem very impressed with the meals Varena has been putting on, washed down with an adult beverage or two.
