Monday 14th April

SHE SAID:

A quiet day, other than Gary coming over with his grinder to cut up the metal rollers of the old awning for us & take it to the dump in his tray-back ute. He stayed for a cuppa & a chat before heading off. I’m glad that is sorted now, & very grateful Gary could help us.

A new season of Black Mirror began last week so we started to watch that in the evening, as we have finished Wolf Hall.

A few more art installations from the
Art By the Sea, in Dunsborough

HE SAID:

Gary messaged to say he was heading the dump, which is only about 2 kms away from us on the next street, and offered to cut up the awning roller and bits so it could go to recycling. I’d say that the actual cutting took about 5 minutes, but we also had a 10 minute chat, and then a cuppa and Varena’s homemade choc chip biscuits. So all up it was probably over an hour. There was no rush as we are all people of leisure these days.
