Sunday 6th April
SHE SAID:
I picked Dorte up around 11.30am; we headed to Abbey to get lunch from Claudio’s Bake House. We rendezvoused with Nikki & Michelle then went in convoy to Cowaramup to eat out purchases in the park there.
Our reason for meeting in Cowaramup was to go to a Wildflower Society talk on orchids of the Busselton region, given by a WANOSCG member, Brian Trainer. We bumped into Cheryl & Kerry, & Anne there too. The talk was well attended & interesting, if a little mish mash in presentation.
Plenty of orchid talk afterwards before we headed off.
I dropped Dorte home & was back to Vasse in time to Skype with Mum at the earlier time of 5pm, with daylight saving time now on in the UK.
HE SAID:
There were three AFL matches on TV to entertain me today. I also managed an hour or so chat with Uncle Paul, and a 15 minute Skype with my sister Eileen.
Before Varena wrapped up her Skype session with Jan I got the Bolognese on to heat, so the house had tantalising aromas for the next hour until we scoffed the real thing.
