Saturday 10th May
SHE SAID:
We had a light complimentary breakfast at the apartment’s tiny breakfast room before heading out for a drive & wander. I chose Coode St Jetty on the Swan River, which is east of the main South Perth jetty, & we haven’t been there before. It was a bout a 20min drive from the apartment & we had a nice stroll along the river.
Andrea & Scott met us at The Boat Shed Restaurant for lunch. They came without any kids, which made life easier for us to chat away. The 2 hours eating & talking flew by, as it does when we see them.
I hit the bed early, 9pm, hoping to get a few hours sleep in before our 3am departure for the airport.

HE SAID:
It was a pleasant riverside amble in the morning before a two hour chat-fest with Scott and Andrea. They are so busy, all the time! Bedtime came early in preparation for our early start tomorrow, and very surprisingly, I slept ok.
