SHE SAID:

We were up at 5am for an 8am flight to London. The flight was chock-a-block, disappointingly so after the nice empty flight to Dubai!

We got the train from the airport to Horsham, then a taxi, & were met by a “happy teary” Mum at Wakefield Court. It is good to be back again & be with Mum.

The early start wasn’t fun but was not awful. I think we had got a taxi, made it to the airport, and even dropped our bags and checked in within 90 minutes of waking. The flight was fine, despite nearly being skipped for lunch, and being a full plane. At Gatwick we were going to get a taxi to Horsham until the quoted price had us back-peddling and heading for the train station. It really felt like a rip off. It was good to see Jan again, Varena has been very worried about her.
