SHE SAID:
It was a day of getting stuff done: UK SIM cards for the phones, sending messages to people telling them we are back again, washing, & getting some food supplies in.
The weather has reverted to typical gloomy grey today, after yesterday's beautiful sunny welcome. We don't seem to have any jetlag, which is great.

HE SAID:
We were both awake quite early this morning, just a little adjusting to the new time zone, I guess. Jan’s early appointment was cancelled at short notice so we took our time before heading into town for a few things. And, in a semi-miracle, we convinced Jan to try a new cafe. It only took 15 years of living in Horsham!
While not a busy day Varena made pesto pasta for dinner, which is usually our quick and easy meal for when we are tired or late. And it was good, as usual.
