SHE SAID:
Geoff & I headed north today on another reccy of orchid spots. It wasn’t as fruitful as yesterday; we were at least 2, probably 3, weeks too early. Luc & Kathy joined us at different times.
We saw the expected flowering orchids, but none of the hoped for ones.
The gloomy skies made it look like we were in for a downpour, but all we had on the way back were a few spits. Geoff was happy that we were back to the house for lunch.

We were working on the theory that we’d be back for lunch, but time got away from us. I didn’t starve, but was a near thing!
