Sunday 20th July

SHE SAID:

Another jaunt west today, further than yesterday, but with fewer results. I’m still keen to explore some new locations, but there wasn’t a lot to see. We did find some orchids; a new open one for the season was a Jug. Happy!

We were back before 3pm, & before the rain, though the clouds were creeping across the skies. The weather is expected to be wet & cold tomorrow.

HE SAID:

We were off around 8:30 and headed west. We had several stops, some new, and found a few orchids, but overall it was a little underwhelming orchid-wise. Once again I enjoyed Varena's comestibles; homemade choc chip biscuit at elevenses, and a tasty salami and salad sanga for lunch. We returned to the house a touch earlier than I expected, but we had done what was planned for the day, so all good.

I rang Keith for a chat. He was around Nambucca and heading for Brisbane in his truck. He is away from home so much! Anyway, we chatted on for over an hour, as you do. Varena's curry for dinner was great again.
