SHE SAID:

I was helping out with the Wildflower Festival, covering the lunch time period from 12-2pm with Claire, on the door. It was very quiet, maybe 30 people through, but heaps of school kids' groups, which weren’t our concern.

Geoff & Nikki arrived about 1.40pm. Nikki had a wander around & then we all left at 2pm. I had a quick bite to eat at the house & went out again. This time Nikki & I headed for Keenan Road, to the burn, in hopes of seeing some Sun Orchids, but all the ones we found appeared to have self-pollinated!

Kathy joined us later & we did a couple more locations before heading to town to get some Sri Lankan Curries for dinner. We ate them back at the house; tasty & filling.

HE SAID:

My outings for the day were brief. I took Varena to the Civic Centre, which is only about 2 km's away from the house, and picked her up later.

The Sri Lankan curries for dinner were very tasty, but I was surprised, and called BS, when Kathy said that more people were harmed by the Covid vaccine than died from Covid!
