Saturday 4th October

SHE SAID:

Today we headed for Eaton, near Bunbury, to drop Nikki home. Of course, we managed a couple of orchid stops along the route. Nikki got her final new orchid for the trip too, she seemed well happy with that newbie.

The predicted rain came & went along the route to the coast & we managed to get wet!

Nikki had 2 gorgeous bottles of Ferngrove Wines for us. Bubbles with a mass of orchids on the label, & a red with the Queen of Sheba on it for Geoff. What a lovely parting gift from her.

We got back to a full caravan park & people in the Rec Shed practising Carol singing...in October...OMG!

Dwarf Bee, Wandoo Beard, Laughing Leeks
A double-headed Grass Tree, Leaping Spider & all yellow Cowslips

A collection of bugs

The lovely orchid thank you that Nikki gave us.

HE SAID:

We were on the road to Bunbury by 8am. I knew that there would be orchid stops along the way, but I think the rain curtailed them somewhat, allowing us to drop Nikki off a bit after 1130. Our return to Narrogin was via Aldi, and another orchid spot for lunch and a bit of a wander. Back just after 2pm I didn't miss much of the T20 vs NZ. Pies for dinner rounded off the day.
