SHE SAID:

I had a “big” task to perform today, the making of the Burnt Basque Cheesecake, Geoff’s request for his birthday cake. The recipe recommended it is made the day before.

We had a mini taster, as the mixture was too much for the one cake tin. This small wedge we had was lovely, & still slightly warm, so light & mouthwatering tasty. Maybe warm is the go???

Varena had lovely aromas wafting from the kitchen while she cooked the cheesecake. I was lucky enough to get a pre-birthday sample, and it was very good. Can’t go wrong with cheesecake!
