SHE
SAID:
Our
final full day on the Isle of Skye & it was pouring with rain
when we woke up!
We
didn't leave the cottage till nearly midday, when the weather was due
to clear. By the time we got down to the Aird of Sleat the sun was
poking through. We had fine weather for views across to the Cuillin
Mountains at Elgol too.
But
by the time we got to the Fairy Pools near Glenbrittle the clouds &
rain had returned so we abandoned the drive (any excuse not to do a
big walk!). Plus then Geoff got to see the end of the rugby game with
Australia playing! WIN WIN.

There was not much point going sight seeing in the rain, so we didn't.
