Sunday 27th August 2017

SHE SAID:

It was a chilly start this morning, but Geoff made his yummy Cheese Souffle & the van warmed up nicely with the oven on!

Our drive to Boulia was uneventful; we checked out the Cawnpore Lookout & were surprised to see a coach load of wrinklies up there! We read up about the Min Min Lights at the site of the old Min Min Hotel, which like too many places in Australia burnt down many years ago.

The Boulia Caravan Park was a surprise, it had green grass about the place. The town of Boulia had huge wide streets, but was mainly closed, being a Sunday. The sights were seen in around 15 minutes, & the fuel was, as expected, expensive at $1.50, but we needed to fill up.

B, B or B...which way to go?

HE SAID:

Varena still refuses to attempt making the soufflé. She reckons it is mine, and mine alone, as it is so specialised. If I can make it, then she could do it blindfolded.
