SHE
SAID:
For
our final weekend in Bowral we had "a distant relative" of
Geoff's come over for the day with her husband. Aine & Seamus live in Sydney, but
were keen to come down for a "winery wander" & lunch.
We
went back to Centennial Winery, where some wines were purchased, then
on to Bendooley Estate for lunch. We had a lovely meal here a
couple of weeks ago, so were happy to repeat the visit. Being a long
weekend it was a busy time at the restaurant, but the standard was
just as high as mid-week.
The
day was finished at the house with a cuppa / beers & nuts &
the latest Blog Book viewing.

Aine is my third cousin, and she and Seamus arrived about noon and we chatted away until about 7pm. They liked the idea of visiting a winery or two, and we had no objection (ahem), so off we went. Wine tastings, lunch, and a chatty afternoon entertained us all.
