SHE SAID:
Today we headed for Still Bay; the grey skies and rain followed us to our first stop, The Map of Africa, a lookout that looks like the coastline of southern africa, in the hills above the ocean. Photos taken and we were off again, taking the Seven Passes Road through to George. It was a scenic drive, and the rain slowly disappeared for the most part.
From George we headed for Mossel Bay and the Cape St Blaize Lighthouse, just because.
We had a 70km final drive to Still Bay. The grey skies followed us but the BnB was nice, right on the sand dunes.
We hibernated for the remainer of the day, with one quick walk to the beach for a look. Then I went out again for average sunset.

The rather damp lookout
The outline is just visible through the misty rain
The inland windy road to George
One of the river crossings
Dutch Reform Church in Geeorge
Passing through Mossel Bay
Rockie Hydrax or Dassie - the elephants closest living relative...yes really!
Cape St. Blaize
Coastal Curlew on the dunes right outside the BnB at Still Bay
Stormy view over Still Bay
Average sunset but a golden shoreline

The Map of Africa was a little underwhelming, but the land looked down upon was in the shape of Africa. Maybe the pouring rain dampened my enthusiasm.
